FNAF Phone Number: Is There a Real Freddy Fazbear Number?

What happens when you text the FNAF phone number?

You got a job interview from Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. The film's official X account shared a "Help Wanted" ad for a night guard, and an NBC article of 4 October 2023 describes texting the number. The replies warned that the pay was poor and the hours worse, joked that the power "can be a bit...screwy", and by the end of the questions you had more or less got the job. Then came a request for a photo of yourself for an Overnight Guard Security badge (NBC Insider).

It was a text line, not a call line, made as publicity before the movie opened in cinemas and on Peacock on 27 October 2023. NBC's report is the newest dated one we found. Some 2023 Reddit thread titles ask whether the number works, one says it does not, and a late-2025 thread asks again whether it still does. Promotion lines can close without notice, so we do not suggest texting it now. Our film and TV lines hub covers the other campaigns.

Is there a real Freddy Fazbear's Pizza phone number?

No. The pizzeria is made up for the games and films, so it has no phone number. The movie's text line is the only official FNAF phone number we found. On Quora, people ask whether the restaurant is real, and one asker is a parent whose son says it is. It is fiction: in 2016, an automated reply from the game's creator, Scott Cawthon, told CBS New York that all the locations are fictional and no phone numbers are tied to the game or its marketing (CBS News). The 2023 movie line came later, from the film's own publicity.

We found no phone line for Five Nights at Freddy's 2, the December 2025 sequel. If one appears, we will add it here with a dated source.

The secret phone numbers in FNAF: Into the Pit

Many videos and guides about "secret FNAF phone numbers" are about FNAF: Into the Pit, a 2024 game with its own phone. Players dial numbers on it to reach characters and places such as Mom, the Mechanic, Jeff's Pizza and Freddy's Pizza, and one "Emergency" number says the service is suspended (TheGamer).

None of them is a real FNAF phone number: they connect only on that in-game handset. We do not print them, because the same digits on your own mobile could reach nothing, or a stranger. Other FNAF art shows numbers too. One Reddit thread title describes fans trying to call a number on a Fredbear poster from the games; we have not read the replies, but the poster number appears to have too few digits for a real line. If a person answers a number you saw in a video, apologise and hang up.

Do not call real pizzerias

In 2016, Freddie's Pizzeria in Long Branch, New Jersey, got about 100 prank calls a day, mostly from children checking whether it was the pizzeria from the game. The manager told CBS New York that real customers could not get through (CBS News).

A restaurant with a similar name has nothing to do with the series. A joke call ties up a small business's phone while its customers wait. Read whether prank calls are illegal for the law, and the numbers that really are unsafe to dial for the real risks.

Who is the phone call guy in FNAF?

In the first game, a character fans call "Phone Guy" leaves recorded messages for the night guard, with advice and warnings about the animatronics (FNAF Wiki). His calls play inside the game, so he has no real number.
