Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026. This page says what data this site handles, why, for how long, and how to ask about it. In short:

  • You do not need an account, and the site shows no ads yet; we plan to add them later, and this page will change first.
  • The site sets no cookies of its own.
  • We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare says uses no cookies, and you can turn it off on this page.
  • If you write to us through the contact form, we get your message, and your email address only if you give it.

Who is responsible for your data?

Jasim, who runs this site, decides how its data is used; in data protection terms, he is the controller. For a privacy question, use the contact form and choose "Something else".

What do we collect, and why?

WhatWhyOur reason under the lawHow long we keep it
Your contact form message: the topic, the page address if you add one, the message, and your email address if you add it
To read your message, fix or research what you raise, and reply
Our legitimate interest in running an accurate site and answering readers
Up to 12 months after the last reply, then deleted
Emails you send when we reply, including proof that you own a number if we ask for it
To handle a removal request or a dispute
Our legitimate interest in removing numbers for their owners and checking requests
Proof is deleted within 30 days of the check; other emails as for messages
Technical data from every visit: IP address, browser type, the page asked for and the page you came from
To deliver the site and keep it safe
Our legitimate interest in a working, secure site
We do not set or control this period; Cloudflare's privacy policy explains how it handles logs
Visit counts from Cloudflare Web Analytics: pages viewed, the site you came from, country, browser and device type, and page-loading times
To see which pages readers use, so we can improve them
The UK rule that allows simple visit statistics with clear information and a way to object, and our legitimate interest
Cloudflare says it keeps the full data for 7 days, then only a sample in summary form (Cloudflare)
Your light or dark theme choice
To remember how you like the page to look
Needed for the feature you chose
Stored only in your browser; it is never sent to us
Your choice to turn analytics off
To remember not to load the analytics script
Needed for the choice you made
Stored only in your browser; it is never sent to us

Your email address is optional. Without it we can read your message but cannot answer it. We do not use your data for automated decisions or profiling, and we do not sell it.

Do you use cookies?

No. The site sets none of its own; the two choices above are kept in your browser's local storage, not in cookies. Cloudflare says its Web Analytics works without cookies and does not fingerprint visitors (Cloudflare). If Cloudflare's security checks ever run on a visit, Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (Cloudflare cookies).

How do I turn off analytics?

Use the switch below. It turns off Cloudflare Web Analytics on this browser and device, and it costs nothing. The switch needs JavaScript; without JavaScript, the analytics script does not run either. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the site does not load the analytics script.

Analytics on this device: on

The change applies from the next page you open.

What about Google Search Console?

We use Google Search Console to see how the site appears in Google Search: which searches show our pages and how often people click them. Search Console does not need a tracking script on this site, and it gets nothing from your visit here. What Google records about your searches is covered by Google's privacy policy.

Who else handles your data?

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the analytics. Cloudflare says it acts as a processor for site logs and for visitor data passing through its network, and that it uses the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, EU standard contractual clauses and the UK Addendum when data leaves the UK or EU (Cloudflare privacy policy, data processing addendum).
  • Web3Forms passes contact form messages to our inbox. It receives what you type in the form, and may also receive technical data such as your IP address. Web3Forms says it acts as a processor for the site owner, stores messages encrypted on Amazon's servers, and keeps them for up to three years unless the owner sets a shorter period (Web3Forms privacy policy). We set it to delete messages 12 months after they arrive.
  • Our email provider holds the messages and replies.

We do not share your data with anyone other than the services named on this page, unless the law requires it.

Do you show ads?

Not yet. We plan to apply to an advertising network, such as Google AdSense, once the site has regular readers. Ads would help pay for running the site.

No ad appears until this page is updated. It will then name the ad network, say what it collects and which cookies it sets, and explain your choices. Where the law requires it, such as in the UK and the EU, we will ask for your consent before any ad cookies are used.

What about the phone numbers printed on this site?

The numbers on this site come from public sources: the owner's own pages, film and game publicity, the press and public posts. If a number on this site is yours, ask us to remove it on remove a number. We take the digits down the same day we read your request and reply within 14 days.

What are your rights?

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it or delete it, to limit how we use it, or to receive a copy.

You can also object to any use of your data that rests on our legitimate interest, including the analytics, and we will stop unless we have a strong reason that outweighs yours.

Send your request with the contact form, and include your email so we can answer. We answer within one month, and we aim for 14 days.

How do I complain?

Complain to us first, using the contact form, and include your email so we can answer. We acknowledge a complaint within 30 days, look into it and tell you the outcome. If you are not happy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, or to the data protection authority where you live.

Children

This site is not made for children under 13, and we do not ask anyone's age. If a child under 13 writes to us, we reply once if needed and then delete their contact details.
